The managing director under trade law has years of experience in this special field of machining of high temperature materials (especially nickel based and titanium alloys). Because of this the Finkeldei Engineering Solutions GmbH develops new and innovative methods in efficient manufacturing of high qualitative products.

Reference projects

Our managing director coordinated a project for the investigation of the machining process of fiber reinforces plastics (carbon fiber − CFRP, glass fiber − GFRP and aramid fiber − AFRP − reinforced plastics) during his activities as a scientific staff member at the TU Wien. Different drilling and milling tools were analyzed in a tooling benchmark. This investigation was done with the aim of increasing the surface quality of the workpieces (no delamination, splintering and fraying). Moreover, a recommendation for the design of the cutting parameters was successfully given to the tool manufacturers.

In a process consulting for a manufacturing company in the surrounding of Vienna a complete machining process could be designed for a high-volume production. A thin-walled part was made from a forging blank of heat-treatable steel 42CrMoS4+QT. The process design deals with the design of the roughing process and the planning of the surface finish. Tool vibrations could be prevented by selection of the correct cutting tool.
